Last changed: 11 Sept 2024

Welcome to Meegie! By using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service (ToS). Please read these terms carefully, as they form a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and Meegie ("Company", "we", or "us"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Overview
Meegie is a serverless cloud platform that connects developers to hardware owners for deploying and executing code (jobs). Our service allows developers to run their code on a global network, while hardware owners can monetize their spare computational resources by running these jobs.

2. Eligibility
To use Meegie, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
- Agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

3. Account Creation
To use Meegie, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

4. Services
4.1. For Developers
Developers may deploy jobs to the platform, which will be executed on hardware owned by other users (hardware owners). You must ensure that the code you deploy complies with all applicable laws and regulations and does not violate the rights of any third party.

4.2. For Hardware Owners
By running jobs on your hardware, you agree to allow Meegie to execute code on your machine in exchange for compensation.
You must ensure that your hardware meets the technical requirements specified by Meegie.
You agree that Meegie is not responsible for any damage to your hardware resulting from running jobs, except as explicitly provided under applicable law.
You may not modify the client software that is responsible for the jobs.

5. Fees and Payments
Meegie charges developers for the computational resources they consume and pays hardware owners for providing those resources. Fees, payment terms, and payout schedules are detailed on our documentation site. Meegie reserves the right to modify these at any time with notice to users.

6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Meegie for any of the following activities:
- Deploying code that is malicious, illegal, or violates third-party rights.
- Using the platform for hacking, mining cryptocurrency, or engaging in any harmful activities.
- Using a large amount of network bandwidth.
- Attempting to interfere with or compromise the security of our platform or the hardware of other users.

7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property associated with the Meegie platform is owned by the Company. You retain ownership of any code or intellectual property that you deploy on the platform, but you grant Meegie a non-exclusive, worldwide license to execute, modify, and distribute this code as necessary to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meegie is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform.
- Any loss of data, revenue, or profits.
- Any damages resulting from the use of hardware provided by hardware owners or third-party services.

9. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. Meegie reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in prohibited activities, or for any other reason at our discretion.

10. Amendments
